Description
MES Sodium is the sodium salt of MES also known as 4-Morpholinoethanesulfonic acid sodium salt is used in Life Sciences. MES is a zwitterionic organic buffer and is one of the original Good’s buffers [Good et al. 1966]. MES Sodium more soluble in water than MES, not absorbed through the cell membranes, almost inert in biochemical reactions, essentially transparent to visible and UV light, and chemically / ezymatically stable. It is used in cell culture media, electrophoresis, and molecular biology applications
